Children's Liturgy of the Word is celebrated during the 9am Mass in St Marys on Sundays and during the 9.15am Mass in the Church of the Holy Family & St Michael's on Sundays.

At St Mary's the children go to the church hall with their leaders after the introduction to the Mass and return just before the Offertory. Parents are welcome to accompany very young children and join the rota to help with the liturgy or to run sessions. If you are interested please speak to one the leaders or to Fr John.

At Holy Family the children go to the parish room with their leaders after the introduction to the Mass and return just before the Offertory. Parents are welcome to accompany very young children and join the rota to help.If you are interested please speak to one the leaders or to Fr John or Deacon Christopher.

Children's Liturgy of the Word is provided to give your children a wonderful celebration of the beginning of the Sunday Mass and to understand the Gospel and its message for that Sunday. Please always remember that, if you need to go with your child to help them come along to the Liturgy of the Word, when you are with your children in the Parish Hall or Parish Room that you are still taking part in the celebration of the Sunday Mass, it is a wonderful opportunity to pray with your children and to help them to celebrate.

Live Simply Wildflower Gardens - as part of our Live Simply parish commitment we are being invited to plant a wildflower patch in our gardens. The Parish has supplied some seeds. Your wildflower patch could be as small or as large as you like, but nothing too onerous - from a metre square to ... well you decide. Parish LiveSimply Wildflower Patches
